The RIGHT care for YOU at the RIGHT time!

NO WAIT TIMES • NO INSURANCE • NO HIDDEN FEES

General Questions

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a flat monthly or annual fee for access to a broad range of healthcare services and providers. DPC doesn’t function on the traditional fee-for-service model of medicine and doesn’t bill or accept insurance.

Removing traditional insurance from the primary care office allows our providers to focus on your health, not how many patients they can see in a day for maximum insurance reimbursement.

Easy access, convenient, and affordable!

As a Coastal Medical Member, you have direct access to our providers when you need them. You get unlimited office visits at no additional charge, and no rush!

We guarantee same-day or next-day appointments for our members, which can be booked directly through our website.

Simple diagnostic testing (e.g. strep tests) and lab tests may be performed in office for a small additional charge.

We only accept adults 18-64 years old for our Direct Primary Care Memberships. However, we accept children 6 months and older for our Urgent Care Membership which is limited to Urgent Care/Sick Visits.

We do not perform wellness exams, track milestones, immunizations, or offer infant care. We recommend seeing your family pediatrician as they are specialized in these areas.

Unfortunately we do not accept health insurance at this time. We do accept payment from all major credit cards, debit cards and health savings cards.

For Urgent Care visits, we provide patients with a detailed summary of the visit upon request.  The summary can be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement as an out-of-network urgent care visit.

Yes, you still need health insurance as a DPC patient. Coastal Medical Care does not replace health insurance for catastrophic events, hospitalization or  major illnesses (such as cancer). However, you can reduce your insurance coverage because your primary care is covered by your membership.

Unfortunately we do not see Medicare patients at this time. However, we are currently working on changing that! Please check back periodically for updates!

Home Visits

Home Visits are available for Members and Non-Members (See Non-Member Pricing). Non-Member visits are Urgent Care visits only for both Pediatrics (6 months and older) and Adults.

Once you have scheduled an appointment for a Home Visit, our provider will first contact you to review the reason for your visit. The provider will then travel to your preferred location within 30 minutes of your scheduled appointment.

The provider will examine you and provide an appropriate diagnosis of your condition. If a prescription is needed, your provider will send it to your preferred pharmacy.

If additional testing and/or a procedure is needed, additional fees will be applied to the cost of the Home Visit. Please review the Non-Member Pricing page prior to your visit.

We perform rapid tests for strep throat, influenza, COVID and RSV.

We perform minor procedures including laceration management with sutures, staples or skin glue, as well as drainage of abscesses and cysts.

If you are feeling ill, we provide intravenous or intramuscular medication if it is appropriate for your condition.

We DO NOT administer narcotic pain medication.

Our current service area extends from Neptune Beach South to Nocatee, from Jacksonville Beach West to the St. Johns Town Center, Southwest to Durbin Crossing, and South to World Golf Village.

If you are located outside of our service area, please give us a call to see if we can assist you with your needs. A $50 travel fee may apply.

IV Therapy

IV Therapy is a safe and effective way to receive natural vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. These infusions enhance your energy, improve your overall mood, and help prevent future health conditions caused by stress, malnutrition, and dehydration.

If you retain fluids, have kidney problems, or suffer from certain health conditions, you should not engage in IV Therapy. We always recommend that you check with your primary care physician if you are unsure.

Each infusion takes approximately 45-60 minutes to be fully administered.
